REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PURBALINGGA -- Presidential candidate number 02, Prabowo Subianto visited Purbalingga Regency, Central Java, on Wednesday. He made a plege to the local people that he will lead an anti-corruption government.
"I will lead a government that will be strongly against corruptors," the Gerindra Party chief patron stated before thousands of resident flocked at Slinga Village Square, Kaligondang Sub-District, Purbalingga, Wednesday (Feb 13) afternoon.
Prabowo also stated his vow to defend the people at all time. He said that he did not intend to make people angry by saying that the country is now suffering as its wealth mostly taken abroad by certain parties.
He said that the country must take its wealth back. It should be utilized for the sake of the people, Prabowo said.
"If I defend my people, is it wrong? The point is that I struggle for justice and truth," he remarked.
Prabowo also reminded simultaneous general elections will be held in less than two months. He hoped the people would exercise their rights to vote.
