REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — A suspect in homicide case of a family of four, HS admitted to have killed all the victims. According to him, he used a crowbar to end lives of the victims.
Police said HS threw away the tool to remove traces. HS told the police that the crowbar was dumped into a river in Kalimalang area.
“Yes HS throw away the crowbar and we have not found the weapon yet,” said Jakarta Police spokesman Argo Yuwono on Friday (Nov 16).
The search for the crowbar as one of the evidences in family of four murder case was stopped temporarily as the current was strong. According to police, if the river flow returns to normal, the search will resume.
Furthermore, HS revealed minor victims were not hit by crowbar. The two children were suffocated to death with a pillow, he said.
A family of four were found dead on Tuesday (Nov 13) at 6.30 WIB (Indonesia West Standard Time). Victims identified as Diperum Nainggolan (38), Maya Boru Ambarita (37), Sarah Boru Nainggolan (9), and Arya Nainggolan (7). Police found stab wounds and injuries caused by blunt objects on the victims' body.
Based on the report, at 3.30 WIB, a witness named Feby Lofa Rukiani saw the door of victim's house was not closed and the television was on. When she called, no one answer.
Feby then called Aris Susanto who become the second witness and Sulistyanti as third witness in this murder case. The witnesses then reported the incident to community units head and police.
According to one of the neighbors, Diperum was a merchant who sell basic staples. Diperum started his business since 2016 and a couple months ago he operated a new business which was delivering cigarette to other merchants.
HS has been arrested after development of examination at a crime scene. He was arrested in Garut, after police checked a rented room, which near that location there was a car belongs to murder victims. Police said will continue to search the involvement of another person in this murder case.
