The reporters also have asked the same question to National Police's Head of Public Relations Muhammad Iqbal during a press conference at Mako Brimob on Thursday. According to Iqbal, other inmates were not disturbed by the incident involving terror convicts and policemen.

"Why did it has to be asked again? Nobody in this complex disturbed. All is safe," he told the reporters.

Earlier, Iqbal remarked on Wednesday that the riot broke out when several terror convicts, occupying many detention blocks, quarreled with police officers over food. "This is a matter of the police's standard operating procedure to check the food for anyone held in custody," he explained.

The food for inmates at the Brimob Command Station's detention center must be sterilized and must not contain forbidden materials, he revealed.
