"I was there when he made the statement. I see myself in the video. I was in National Police legal division," he explained on Tuesday (Jan 30).

Setyo remembered the statement was conveyed during the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NU. Tito ordered all Metro Police chief to build network with NU and Muhammadiyah at the provincial level.

Meanwhile, all police sub-regions should also held activities to strengthen the mass organizations branch in the districts and cities. Tito said the sectoral police chief obliged to build synergy with NU and Muhammadiyah, not with other organizations. "(Synergy) with other organizations is not our priority. They were not founders of the country. They would probably intended to destroy the country," Tito remarked.

"We will meet with many Islamic mass organizations in order to strengthen friendship and some other things," said Setyo.
