REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MAGELANG - At least three thousand people are expected to attend the "Borobudur Nite 2017 Amazingly Wonderful" New Year's Eve celebration at the Borobudur Temple park, Central Java, Sunday (Dec 31) evening.
"Our target is to attract three thousand visitors to the 'Borobudur Nite 2017', but if possible it will reach five thousand visitors," said Ayu Dyah Pasha, director of the Gathaya Event Organizer, noted here, Friday (Dec 29).
The "Borobudur Nite 2017" will be held on Sunday starting at 5 p.m. local time at several locations, such as the Manohara restaurant, Lumini, and Marga Utama located within the Borobudur Temple park's complex.
The tickets are priced Rp 750 thousand for platinum class, Rp 500 thousand for gold, and Rp 250 for festival. Tickets can be bought online at /blibli.com and /kiostix.com or on the spot.
The organizer will hand over a lampoon to each visitor to be released at midnight. Some 2,500 lampoons have been imported from Thailand for the event.
Dedy Setijono, the president director of PT Borobudur Temple, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko Tourism Parks, remarked that the "Borobudur Nite 2017 Amazingly Wonderful" will be enlivened by music, arts, cultural, and lantern performances as well as Indonesia's culinary festival.
