REPUBLIKA.CO.ID,JAKARTA -- Setya Novanto (Setnov)'s lawyer, Frederich Yunadi claimed his client did not know anything about the issuance of a new investigation warrant (sprindik) for the House of Representatives (DPR) speaker in alleged e-ID card corruption case.
Meanwhile, photograph of the new sprindik has been circulating in the media since Monday. The letter registered with the number 113/01//10/2017 dated on October 31.
Yunadi said, Setnov has not received no notification from KPK on the issuance of new sprindik.

"Nothing, there is no sprindik or notice Commencement investigation (SPDP) that we have received," Yunadi said on Monday.
Yunadi said, the issuance of new sprindik was just a rumor that was allegedly spread for bad intention.
KPK leaders and spokesperson have not been available to respond.
KPK deputy chairman Saut Situmorang said the anti-graft body will review the plan to issue new sprindik cautiously.
"We will examine in details what steps we should take. We will take our time in reviewing it. Clearly, we would not stop," Situmorang said, Thursday (October 5).
In July, Setnov was named a suspect in e-ID card graft case, which incurred an estimated Rp 2,3 million in state losses. He was allegedly played a key role in a plan to swindle funds earmarked for the project.
On September 29, Novanto has succeeded with a pretrial motion and invalid the suspect status.
