REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SABANG -- Officers of the Sabang Police have detained a Swedish citizen for possession of hashish.

After receiving a tip-off from a local inhabitant, Jacob Alexander Ragnar was detained and three ounces of hashish were seized, Adjunct Senior Commissioner Slamet Wahyudi stated here, Sunday.

"We are still investigating the case, and the suspect said he had bought the hashish from a local youth," he revealed.

In connection with the arrest, the Sabang Police is coordinating with the Swedish embassy in Jakarta.
