"The code of ethics for tourism could be a standard reference for Indonesia's tourism in order to maintain its quality and provide sustainable benefits for the community," he noted.

He stated that the implementation of the code of ethics is urgent for maintaining a sustainable tourism.

"The code of ethics for tourism should include standard, safety and security, accessibility, information, and even weather information. Then, it must be implemented in accordance with the development of tourism infrastructure," he remarked.

To maintain the quality of tourism, the code of ethics should be upheld as a standard guide with regular monitoring and evaluation.

He revealed that his party would coordinate with the National Standardization Agency on tourism standard and codes of ethics.
