Densus 88 raid suspected terrorists hiding in Jatiluhur floating net area

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PURWAKARTA – Special Detachment 88 (Densus 88) Antiterror Unit surrounded a village in Karang Layung, Cibinong, Jatiluhur, Purwakarta, West Java, on Sunday (Dec 25). There were four suspects of terrorist to take action on Christmas and New Year. The raid was turn into a clashed.

A local resident, Gugun Gunawan (33), said that the Detachment members were gathered in the village early in the morning. They went to the floating net area (KJA) in Karang Layung. Apparently, there were four suspected terrorists in the location.  "We heard the sound of gunfire for several times," he said.

Gugun said that the suspected terrorists were shot by the Detachment. Two were died after the shot and were splashed into Jatiluhur. The two others were arrested alive.

Head of the Spokesmen of West Java Police, Sr. Police Yusri Yunus, confirmed the Densus 88 Raid the Karang Layung village. The died suspected terrorists were known as Abu Sovi alias Abu Azis alias Mas Brow and Abu Faiz.  “The two suspected who were caught alive were Rijal alias Abu Arham and Ivan Rahmat Syarif,” he said.
