REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Chief of National Police Criminal Investigation Department (Bareskrim) Commissioner General Ari Dono Sukmanto said the police have discussed the result of open case screening in the alleged case of religious blasphemy by Jakarta governor-inactive Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok). Will Ahok be free from allegation?

Ari said during the open case screening, the police has noticed additional information given by witnesses. He confirmed, "The result will be published on Wednesday (11/16) no later than 10.00 a.m."

Open case screening was held at the Main Meeting Room National Police on Tuesday at 09.30 a.m. until 18.30 p.m. Ahok as the reported party did not attend the open case screening due to his campaign schedule.

The open case screening was attended by the reporters parties, legal counselor of the reported party, eye witness, expert witnesses from both parties and witness appointed by the Bareskrim. Totally, there were 40 witnesses involved..

The reporters parties was represented by Habib Novel Chaidir Hasan, Syamsu Hilal, Irena Handono, Habib Muchsin Alatas and Pedri Kasman.
