34 junior high school students at Magelang achieve perfect score in math exam

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MAGELANG - As many as 34 students of junior high school (SMP) 1 Magelang City, Central Java, successfully achieving scores 100 in math test of national examination 2016.

Head of SMPN 1 Magelang city Kunadi said one student get score of 100 in Indonesian language test, and four students get perfect scores for science exam. He explained, for this year, as graduation announcements from the education department of Magelang, there are no statistical data for provincial and national rankings. He added the average value of Indonesian language  test in SMP 1 Magelang City 90,97, while for Magelang city 82,75. Meanwhile for the English exam is 88.24, while for the local city level is 65.43.

Besides, average scores for mathematics test at SMP 1 Magelang City is 91,41, while the average scores in Magelang city is 58,45 and average scores of science exam in SMP 1 is 88,33 and average scores in the Magelang city is 65,79.

"The total scores is 358,95 with average of 89,737. And in municipal level is 272,42 with average scores of 68,105," he said.

He said based on data, SMP 1 Magelang City still achieving as the best in Magelang city. Before national exam, he continued, the students getting exercises directly via email from their teachers to be delivered to students.

"The next day, we gather the teachers to determine progress of the students. For the next national exam, we hope still using computer based testing (CBT)," he said.
