REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAMBI -- Deputy Head of regional police Jambi Sr. Commissioner Pol. Nana Sudjana explained about the bomb that exploded in front of the store in White Sand area, Jambi City on Wednesday (27/1). He said it a homemade bomb, which low explosive.
"It was a homemade bomb which low explosive. No material loss or casualty in that incident," he said on Thursday (28/1).
A few minutes after the explosion, happened at 2.30 WIB, the team from special police force Gegana Jambi Brimob Police went down to the location. They cleaned up the explosion and brought the two rods, which haven't exploded at that time as evidence.
He also mentioned that homemade bomb shaped like firecracker in large size. He said the rest of the evidences such as sulfur, potassium, and nails have been secured.
For this time, the motive from that explosion is still under police investigation. Nana urged people in Jambi to keep calm.
"Don't be provoked on the misleading issues," he added.
