REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Latest novel of Habiburrahman El-Shirazy a.k.a Kang Abik, 'Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2', was currently launched. In four days since its launch, the novel has sold more than 10 thousand copies.
"We were really surprised with this fantastic sales, less than a week or exactly four days since its launch, it has sold over 10 thousand copies," said General Manager of Marketing of Republika Publishing, Awod Said, in Jakarta, Monday (30/11).
Awod revealed, the pre-order offered by marketing team since 24th to 30th November for 2015 copies has exceeded the target. He added, the order for 'Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2' novel still continued to increase.
"In this week, Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2 has been reprinted more than four times," he said.

He explained, Gramedia asked for 10 thousand copies of 'Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2' novel. It made Republika publisher to reprint the novel.
Editor in Chief of Republika Publishing, Syahruddin El-Fikri, said the launch of 'Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2' novel in several cities, such as Bogor, Bandung, and Ciajur, was attended by thousand of people.
"People have to queue up to get Kang Abik's novel," he added.
