REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) announced that it would resummon Hartanto Edhie Wibowo for investigation into a corruption case related to the Sports School and Education and Training Center (P3SON) construction project in Hambalang. He will face arrest if he fails to show up.

"We will summon again because he (Hartanto Edhie Wibowo) did not answer the previous call," KPK Vice Chairman Busyro Muqoddas stated on Wednesday.

According to Muqoddas, the KPK will continue to summon suspects or witnesses in accordance with the law until they comply with the commission's call.

"If he fails to show up until the determined period, he will be immediately arrested," he affirmed.

Earlier, on Friday (November 7), the KPK had summoned Wibowo in connection with a corruption case related to the P3SON construction project in Hambalang that named Director of PT Dutasari Citra Laras Machfud Suroso a suspect.

"He (Wibowo) was examined as a witness in a corruption case in which Suroso is named a suspect," KPK spokesman Priharsa Nugraha noted.

Wibowo, the youngest sibling of Ani Yudhoyono, was investigated in his capacity as the treasurer of the Puri Cikeas Foundation. He was a politician from the Democratic Party and a former member of the House of Representatives (DPR) Commission VII overseeing the energy and mining sector.
