REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Chairman of House of Representatives Setya Novanto met with President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo to fix the relations between executive power and legislative. The relationship worsened after Jokowi asked all ministers not to attend meeting with the lawmakers.

"I talked with the President last night. I invite him to build good partnership between government and parliament," Novanto said on Wednesday, November 26.

The Golkar politician said people could suffer be because of their bad relationship. Novanto said he appreciated that welcomed his invitation positively.

Besides discussing on the situation, Novanto and Jokowi also talked on revision on Law no. 17/2014 on MPR, DPR, DPD and DPRD or known as MD3. The parliament is scheduled to discuss the matter on Wednesday.
