REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Presidential candidate Prabowo Subiantio said there has been a tremendous fraud in the 2014 presidential election.
"Our legal teams, witnesses from several provinces have reported tremendous fraud," he said in a press statement in Rumah Polonia, Tuesday (22/7).
He pointed out that there are 14 districts in Papua which were not conducting any voting. In Jakarta there were 5800 polling stations recommended by Bawaslu (the Elections Supervisory Agency) to re-vote, and, he said it was ignored by the Commission (KPU).
Similarly, in the district of East Java, there were six districts under recommendation to coduct re-voting, and it was not obeyed by particular polling stations.
"We find things that show defects in the election so that it caused the loss of democratic rights of Indonesian citizens," he said.
