REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Golkar Party remains solid to deliver Abu Rizal Bakrie as a candidate for President in 2014. Deputy Secretary of Golkar Party, TB Ace Hasan Syadzily said all the officers and cadres of Golkar Party obey and execute the decision of organization.

"To make Mr Bakrie win in 2014 Presidential Election is a priority all Golkar cadres," Syadzily said.

The affirmation is expressed by Syadzily to respond some analysts and researchers that mentioned Golkar Party would be better to make a coalition with Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) in 2014.

Board of Advisors at Center for Strategic and International Studies, Jeffrie Geovanie suggested if PDI-P would carry Joko Widodo (Governor of Jakarta) as Presidential candidate, it would be better if the party hooks Golkar figure as a vice presidential candidate.

A researcher at Maarif Institute, Endang Tirtayana mentioned Ginanjar Kartasasmita from Golkar Party as suitable figure to accompany Joko Widodo. Duet of Widodo and Kartasasmita will be same as Barack Obama and Joe Biden. The two persons are complete figures in military, bureaucrats, technocrats and academics. Heri Ruslan/Mutia Ramadhani
