REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Head of the National Narcotics Agency, Commissioner General Anang Iskandar said that according to survey conducted in 2011 showed drug addicts in Indonesia increased 2.2 percent.

"In other words, four million people in Indonesia are drug addicts," Iskandar said at the State Palace on Monday.

The government has issued policies to control drug abuse. Yet, public responses are still low while illegal drug production has developed into big industry in Indonesia.
