S. African woman caught with meth worth 2.1 billion IDR

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TANGERANG - A South African woman with initial name MD (22 years) was caught with package of methamphetamine worth 2.1 billion IDR at Soekarno Hatta International Airport on Tuesday.  

"MD departed from Singapore and landed at Soekarno-Hatta Airport terminal 2D at 13.30 on Tuesday carried the narcotics," Head of Customs and Excise Soekarno Hatta Airport, Okto Irianto said on Wednesday.

Officers confiscated 1,560 grams of methamphetamine from MD, who accompanied two Nigerians with initials UA and LW. The methamphetamine, locally known as sabu-sabu, was hiden under the false concealment at the bottom of her suitcase. 

In another case, HS (initials name) was caught after a package delivered in Pamulang, South Tangerang. According to a police officer, HS got the package from Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
