REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The weakening of economy affected virtually to all industrial sectors. It includes the industry of Information and Technology (IT).
President of Wellcomm, Lie Jeffrey Lunardi, admitted that macro economy conditions could affect the micro economy. However, he was optimistic that there were many opportunities that could be improved.
"If our market share is still 10 or 20 percent, then economic slowdown by 20 percent won't make us fell," said Jeffrey to Republika.co.id, Friday (25/9).
According to him, if the employers believed that there will be opportunities, then the economic slowdown will not be a problem. Jeffrey said, the economic growth of Wellcomm as a company that focused in mobile phone accessories, still increased.
In the first half of 2015, the income increased by five to 10 percent. Jeffrey admitted that the number was not too large, but it was still rising compared to last year.
