REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- A Member of Commission I of the House of Representatives (DPR) Syaiful Bahri Anshori supports the desire of the Minister of Religious Affairs Lukman Hakim Syaifuddin to allocate aid funds of Palestinian through the state budget (APBN).

"Why not using the budget, but the plan should be consulted with DPR and financial institution," he said when contacted by ROL, on Monday, May 18.

Politicians from National Awakening Party (PKB) assessed the aid to Palestine was very necessary as a form of support for defending the persecuted people. But there should be an agreement of all elements of governance to its budget.

He also said that the aids through the state budget should look at the potential of the state budget. If possible, it would be good to disburse it for aids to country in conflict with the Israel.

If the plan is done then the budget is valid for 2016. The state budget this year has been allocated and determined.

Previously, after delivered the aids from Istiqlal Mosque’s congregation on Friday, May 15, Minister of Religious Affairs, Lukman Hakim said he was willing to help the Palestinians through funds which already allocated in the state budget. By doing so, said Lukman, the Indonesian government will be more serious to support Palestine independence of colonialism by Israel Zionist.
