They also discussed problems experienced by government and Indonesian people, among others Islamophobia.

Gerindra and Democratic Party asked all parties, including government to not easily stigmatize a group as radical group. "Both of us, Gerindra and Democratic Party refused Islamophobia, labelling a community as a radical group too easy. This is our position," said SBY on Tuesday (July 24).

However, Gerindra Party and Democratic Party do not support the emergence of extremism, radicalism and violence in the country under any pretext. SBY said both parties presented the realization of harmony, unity and national unity.

"It is important for us to protect national unity and social harmony, as well as diversity and tolerance," SBY added.

In addition, SBY said Democratic Party and Gerindra Party agreed to uphold the mandate of Pancasila and Constitution of Indonesia Republic 1945 (UUD 1945) as guideline. Both parties refused and prevented the development of efforts to present ideology, understanding, and other thoughts that threatened Pancasila and 1945 Constitution.
