REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MUSCAT -- A nuclear agreement between Iran and G5+1 benefits all regional states, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman Yusuf bin Alawi said on Monday (10/11).
According to Muscat-based Alwatan Daily, Alawi made the remarks on the sidelines of tripartite talks between Iran, US and EU in Oman.
Alawi also voiced hope for success of the nuclear talks held in Muscat.
Oman as the host of negotiations would do its best to facilitate resolution of Iran's nuclear issue, he added.
Iran's foreign minister, his US counterpart and the EU nuclear coordinator started second day of their tripartite talks in Muscat this morning.
Mohammad Javad Zarif, John Kerry and Catherine Ashton are expected to reach a comprehensive deal over Iran's nuclear program after months of talks.
They are focused on disputes between Iran and G5+1, mainly about uranium enrichment and timetable to lift sanctions.
During the first day of trilateral talks on Sunday, Iran, US and EU representatives discussed main issues of disagreement including ways of lifting sanctions and uranium enrichment.
