Mongolia to introduce menu in Makassar Festivals

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MAKASSAR  -- Mongolia is preparing menu to be introduced at the an International Eight Festivals and Forum (F8) 2016 at the Losari Beach of Makassar.

The festivals of Film, Fashion, Food, Flowers, Fine Arts, Folks, Fusion Jazz and Vision Writers will take place from Sept. 8 to 19 with participants representatives from various countries.

Head of Promotion of the Makassar Tourism and Creative Economy Service Muhammad Roem said here on Wednesday, Mongolia still keeos secret the type of food it will present at the food festival.

"A number of countries already announced the types of festivals in which they take part in the F8 including Mongolia which will take part in food festival," Muhammad Roem said.

"Mongolia, however, has made known the type of food they would present. Perhaps they would do so at the last minutes," he said.

Australia already said it would present roasted meat of Kangaroo at the food festival. Roasted meat of Kangaroo, a large bird, which lives only in Australia, would certainly attract visitors to the festival, Muhammad Roem said.

"They said they would present roasted Kangaroo meat in daylight. It would be the first time roasted meat of Kangaroo is served in Indonesia," he said.

Meanwhile, Norway and Georgia said they would take part in film festival. The Norwegian Government said it would show three films with titles - "Snow", "Sissy", and "Alien Repair Guy" and Georgia would take part with two films - "Dinola" and "Coffee Break".
