REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, KUPANG - The Head of Coordinating Institution of Local Investment in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Thobias Uly, said hundreds uninhabited lands in NTT must be open to the investment. "We have the idea to make the lands as new investment on tourism," Uly said on Thursday.

Many investors are needed to build the better NTT. Thus, the Provincial Government keeps bringing the local potency to attract the investors. "The uninhabited lands are potential to be tourism objects. We open investment opportunity for the investors," he said.

He will propose the idea to the local House so that it can be signed into Local Regulation. He also boosts the investment on marine and tourism in NTT. The investment plan in NTT on 2011 was more than 1.779 trillion IDR.  "Hopefully, the investment plan can be realized on 2012 to tackle unemployment and increase the economy of the people in NTT," he said.
