Wow… Bali makes a hit in Belgian TV

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, LONDON – Indonesian Ambassador for Belgium, Luxemburg, and European Union, Arif Havas Oegroseno, said, at least a million people living in Brussels are willing to part their 30 minutes time to watch Bali program from TV VRT web.

“This is a good result for TV VRT. The viewers of TV web have bigger curiosity than regular tv,” Oegroseno said. The viewers come from those having high speed internet and they have high demand for vacation in spring, summer, or winter this year.

In two last days of January, Belgia Vlaam Radio and Television also show Bali program for 30 minutes as a part of Indonesian tourism promotion. Indonesia is also participated as a host for Brussels Holiday Fair in 2-6 February.

 

The show is also broadcasted via TV VRT web in http://www.een.be/programmas/vlaanderen-vakantieland/thomas-op-magisch-bali. Based on TV VRT, million viewers watch Bali program after the show. On January 28, the viewers hit 643.781 and on January 29, there are 309.441 viewers watching Bali program via TV VRT website.

Based on the plan, TV VRT will show other Indonesian programs, such as Lombok and Java. The shooting in Java, Bali, and NTB conducted last June. Indonesian program in Belgium is cooperation between KBRI in Brussels, The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the Government of Yogyakarta, East Java, NTB, and also several Indonesian tourism industries. Bali rocks!
