REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has recorded that the value of its contribution to Non-Tax State Revenues (PNBP) in 2017 nearly accounted for 50 percent.

This was conveyed by Minister of ESDM, Ignatius Jonan with the Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Arcandra Tahar, while heading the first Working Meeting in 2018, along with all Echelon I and II officials within the Ministry of ESDM, through a written statement received by Antara in Jakarta on Tuesday.

There were three important notes related to the PNBP. First, the ESDM sector accounts for almost half of the national PNBP target of 2017.

"The ESDM sector plays an important role in the national economic growth, as evidenced by the data that in 2017, the contribution of PNBP of the ESDM sector was estimated to reach Rp129.07 trillion, or 49.6 percent, of national non-tax revenues of Rp260 trillion in 2017, of almost half of the EMR sector," Jonan stated.

Secondly, in aggregate, this achievement is also greater than the achievement of non-tax revenues of Rp79.94 trillion in 2016 and Rp118.7 trillion in 2015. Third, the achievement of PNBP is also greater than the sectoral PNBP target ESDM in APBN-P 2017, amounting to Rp111 trillion, or 116 percent of the target.
