REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Attorney of Setya Novanto, Fredrich Yunadi said, the doctor has stated that his client is indicated to have a brain concussion due to severe head injury following a car accident on Thursday (November 16) night.

The House of Representative speaker was scheduled to have further examination on Friday. 

"He will undergo MRI scan and other examinations," Fredrich said at Medika Permata Hijau, South Jakarta, on early Friday (November 17).

Fredrich said, his client has to get a total rest. The doctor ordered Novanto not to be disturbed. 

"No visitor allowed," Fredrich said after visiting his client who was currently being treated at 322-238 Medika Permata Hijau hospital.

Earlier, Golkar party politician Idrus Marham paid a visit to Novanto. He came to the room where Novanto was treated and found the Golkar party chairman was asleep.

"I had no communication with him as he was sleeping. I saw he was wounded, bandaged. His wife was also sleeping. I just look him from a distance. I assumed, he is sick. So, do not let anything awake him," he said on Thursday (November 16) night.

Idrus said, KPK investigators were seen in Novanto's room. They greeted each others. "They said, they're on duty and they respect the ongoing process," he added.

Idrus left the hospital at around 23:30 pm.
