KPK tried to persuade Novanto to surrender since the investigators failed to meet him at his house until early Thursday.

After 24 hours since the warrant was issued, KPK put the suspect in the wanted list (DPO).

"We have waited until late in the afternoon. There was no news from the suspect. He did not surrender. So, the KPK leaders decided to send letter to National Police headquarters with copies to National Police chief and NCB Interpol to put the suspect's name into wanted list," spokesperson of KPK, Febri Diansyah said on Thursday (November 16).
