REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Chairman of Gerindra party Prabowo Subianto said, the time has come for newly inaugurated Jakarta governor and deputy governor, Anies Baswedan and Sandiaga Uno to realize their campaign promises. Prabowo highlighted Anies and Sandi promise to reject the Jakarta bay reclamation project.
"Promises during campaign are debts that have to be paid to the people," Prabowo reiterated after attending Anies-Sandi inauguration at State Palace, Jakarta on Monday.
Prabowo urged Anies and Sandi to be accommodative. He asked them to give attention to the interest of all sectors, including businessmen. "They have to be accommodative, observe the interest of all sectors and consider the interest of businessmen," he said.
He believed, Anies and Sandi will take the best measure against reclamation.
