REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Taufik Baswedan said his brother, Novel Baswedan, will undergo left eye surgery in mid-October. He said, after being treated in Singapore for six month, Novel overall condition is getting better.
"Alhamdulillah (thank God), he is improving. He will have another surgery for his left eye in October 20," he said when contacted by Republika.co.id, Wednesday (October 11).
Taufik said, Novel might come home in November. "It depends on his progress towards recovery," he remarked.
Meanwhile, Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) spokesman Febri Diansyah said the anti-graft body yet has got further information regarding the result of investigation on the chemical liquid attack against Novel.
"We are still waiting information from the police to uncover identity of the assailants," he said.
