REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) spokesman Febri Diansyah said the anti-graft body has not draw any conclusion related to Setya Novanto (Setnov) condition. Setnov who has been named as suspect in e-ID card graft case was still being treated at hospital due to illness.

Febri said KPK investigators and doctors have seen the House speaker condition at the hospital. "The result from Monday and Wednesday checking must be discussed further. We will determine whether to continue questioning him or ask for second opinion from Indonesian Medical Association (IDI)," he said on Thursday (September 21).

Febri said, according to the doctors, Setnov has shown a good progress towards recovery after having heart surgery. The doctors allowed the patient to be questioned.

"When KPK's team came to see Setnov, he was asleep. On the other side, we came only to directly check his condition therefore we have not questioned him," Febri said.

KPK has sent two summons against Setnov. he KPK named Novanto as a suspect in the ID-card graft case on July 17.

On Sept 4, he filed a pretrial motion with the South Jakarta District Court to challenge the KPK's decision naming him as a suspect in the case.
