REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, CILEGON -- President Joko Widodo urged Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) to improve capability, professionalism, and preparedness in guarding Indonesia.
"I ask to all soldiers to continue improving capability, professionalism and preparedness wherever you are," said President Jokowi in his speech at commemoration of 70th TNI anniversary in Cilegon, Banten, Monday ( 5/10).
On that occasion, the President also urged TNI to preserve and maintain the integrity and cohesiveness of the military.
"I hoped the soldiers can uphold the mandate of Sapta Marga and the Oath to become TNI soldiers who fought for Indonesia, loved and loving people," he added.
The President also appreciated the theme of 70th anniversary of the military, namely 'With people, TNI is strong, Great, Professionals and ready to Achieve Indonesia that is Sovereign, Independent and Having Good Personality'.
