Govt raises Rp22.5 trillion from sales of state bonds

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The government has raised Rp22.5 trillion from the sales of state bond, with an offer of Rp3494 trillion, to help plug up deficit in the state budget.

A news release on Tuesday from the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management said the result of the auction reached the maximum target of Rp22.5 trillion.

The bongs included the series of SPN03180118 with sales reaching Rp3.65 trillion to be due for repayment on 18 January 2018; the series of SPN12181004, valued at Rp3 trillion maturing on 4 October 2018; the series of FR061, valued at Rp6.55 trillion maturing on 15 May 2022; series of FR059, valued at Rp5.2 trillion maturing on 15 May 2027; series of FR075, valued at Rp2.85 trillion maturing on 15 May, 2038; and the series of FR076, valued at Rp1.25 trillion maturing on 15 May, 2048.

An auction earlier of five series of state bonds (October 3), the government raised Rp17.85 trillion from an offering of Rp34.14 trillion.
