REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Spokesman of Jakarta Metro Police Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono said the investigators of Bekasi Metro Police will conduct a case review on the report made by Muhammad Hidayat related to Kaesang Pangarep's video statement, on Friday (July 7).

Hidayat said Kaesang has spread hate speech through his video. 

"Tomorrow there will be a case review and administration to the case," Argo said in his office on Thursday (July 7).

According to Argo, the word "Ndeso" (Hick, unintelligent) in Kaesang's video has not met criminal element. It was confirmed by several expert witnesses. 

"During the case review, the investigator will ask for the evidence and the basis of the report to Muhammad Hidayat," Argo remarked.

Argo said he would not let Hidayat accused without any basis. "There should be a physical evidence. He should bring a flash disk, CD or something to go with the report," Argo said.

In a separate location, Deputy Police Chief Syafruddin reiterated Hidayat's report did not supported by a rational cause. Therefore, the police would not proceed the report.  

"It (the video) was just a joke. Let's be rational. The National Police, the investigators must be rational. Not all reports have to be proceed. If it was not rational, it would only be tiring to us," he said.

Muhammad Hidayat filed a police report to Bekasi Metro Police against Kaesang, the president's son, on Sunday (July 2). The police recorded it with file number LP/1049/K/VI/2017/Restro Bekasi Kota. 

Police said Hidayat have made another 60 reports during January to June 2017.
