REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Chairman of Presidium of Indonesian Police Watch Neta S Pane reminded the police to increase the operation to tackle and arrest terrorist networks. So, the terrorist networks operated in Indonesia would not find any cracks to create conflicts like in Marawi.

“The operation should be continuously conducted by National police against the terrorist network. It is aimed at closing all chances for terrorists to grow and to create Marawi conflict in Indonesia,” said Neta in a short message to Republika.co.id on Wednesday (June 28).

National police should also be aware of the pressure from Philippines government to terror groups in Marawi. It was not impossible that, under the pressure, the radical groups would seek protection in Indonesia.

“Moreover, in the radical groups attacking Marawi, there were also many people from Indonesia,” said Neta.

Neta reminded the police to keep aware of the terror groups in Indonesia. ISIS’attack to Marawi might be a new energy for the radical groups in Indonesia to make terrors.
