REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The investigator of Jakarta Metro Police planned to visit Habib Rizieq's house on Tuesday (May 30). After that, they would be heading to the Immigration office to check Habib RIzieq position.
The Spokesperson of Jakarta Metro Police Commissioner Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono said the steps would be the basis to put Habib Rizieq into a wanted list. "We also keep on coordinating with the International Relations Division of the National Police to track Habib Rizieq's position," Argo said on Tuesday.
Police have named Habib Muhammad Rizieq Shihab (HRS) as a suspect in the case of alleged steamy conversation with Firza Husein on Monday. Previously, police also have named Firza as suspect. "This afternoon at 12.00 p.m., after the case review, Jakarta Metro Police had upgrade HRS status from witness to suspect,” said Argo on Monday (May 29).
He added that the decision was taken based on some evidences. However, he could not mention the detail of HRS’role in the pornographic case.
Habib Rizieq was threatened by Article 4 verse 1 jo Article 29 and/or Article 6 jo Article 32 and /or Article 9 jo Article 34 of Law No. 44 in 2008 on Pornography. He was threatened by five years of imprisonment.
