According to Yohana, many people agreed with the idea. She said to coordinate with Ministry of Religious Affairs for preparing the regulation.

As information, based on article 7 verse 1 of Law No. 1 in 1974 on Marriage, age limit of marriage was 16 yo for women and 19 yo for men. Marriage would be stated as lawful when it conducted based on each religions and beliefs.

"I will invite the Ministry of Religious Affairs to come, maybe next week, to talk about this target. If the meeting finished,  we had be able to build commitment to realize it quickly," said Yohana.

Previously, Women Health Foundation submitted the raise of age limit of women's marriage from 16 yo to 18 yo through case number 30/PUU-XII/2014. Children Rights Monitoring Foundation also made a same submission No. 74/PUU-XII/2014.

Constitutional Court rejected it in a material test trial No. 1 in 1974 about Marriage on Thursday, June 18, 2015. The verdict was read by the Head of Constitutional Court Arief Hidayat. It stated that the raise of age limit did not guarantee the decrease in number of divorce cases.
