REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- An investigator of Jakarta Metro Police revealed that the five suspects of coup plot case have planned to conduct massive rallies in five big cities in Indonesia. 

"The activities are not only in Jakarta. It should be simultanously conducted in five big cities," said the Spokesperson of Jakarta Metro Police Commissioner Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono in Jakarta on Tuesday (April 4).

Argo said the activists would held massive demonstration in Makassar, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Bandung and Jakarta. The Secretary General of Muslims Forum (FUI) Muhammad Al Khaththath together with Zainudin Arsyad, Irwansyah, Veddrik Nugraha alias Dikho and Marad Fachri Said alias Andre had conducted two meetings in Kalibata (South Jakarta) and  Menteng (Central Jakarta).

Based on pre-reconstruction processes, Argo said the meetings discussed treason trial to overthrown the legitimate government by occupying Parliament building on April 19. They would also conducted other massive and simultanuous demonstration on April 19 to a certain period before Ramadhan in five big cities.

Besides the pre-reconstruction process, investigators had also examined some witnesses and asking testimony from some experts.  Argo also mentioned an information of Rp 3 billion of funds to hold the demostration. He said it included in the part of plan.
