REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Jakarta Metro Police would investigate 7,000 members of pedophile group on Facebook namely 'Official Candy's Group'. The members with the most video and photo posts and shares would be the suspects.

Previously, police had named the group admin and members as the suspects. They were WW (27 yo), DS (24), DF (17), and SHDW (16). The Director of Special Crime Unit in Jakarta Metro Police Commissioner Wahyu Hadiningrat said there was a new suspect namely AAJ (24).

AAJ was a member of the group. Wahyu said the police would investigate all the members, which was more than 7.000. "Yes, (all will be investigated). One-by-one. So we will catch them. Why? He (AAJ) is the most active group member who send and upload (videos and photos),” said Wahyu in his office on Friday (March 17).

Police said it was difficult to name the next suspects as the account name was commonly different to the real one. Not all the members used real accounts, so it needed more time to catch the people.

Wahyu had not been able to explain the reason why they did the sexual harassment to children and uploaded it to the groups. He guessed they had sexual disorders so the police needed to do a psychological test to them.

"Whether they have disorder will be showed by the result of the psychological test. Not by us. We only provide the facilities based on the procedures,” said the former Chief of South Jakarta Police.
