REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Fahri Hamzah told reporters about a series of agendas in welcoming the Arab King Salman bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud on Thursday. He said the king would come to the Capitols in the afternoon and entered the Nusantara building.

A short film of his brother’s visit to Indonesia 47 years ago would be presented as an opening. “He will sign the attendance list, and then he will walk slowly and sit. There are few agendas and the most important part was to flashback to King Faisal’s visit,” he said in South Jakarta on Wednesday.

The Chairman of the House of Representatives Setya Novanto would give a welcoming speech to the King on behalf of the members and leaders of the House of Representatives, the Assembly, and the Regional Representatives Council. King Salman would also give a speech in Arabic.

King Salman would talk about his view related to Islam and how to be moderate in practicing the religion. He could not confirm how long the speech would be.

"I don’t know exactly, but he will talk about moderate Islam and the need to be moderate. He will talk about what is Islam and how Indonesia and Arab cooperate to work on and to share the moderation of Islam,” he said.
