REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDA ACEH -- National Police Chief Gen. Tito Karnavian said Siti Aisyah has been exploited by certain groups to kill King Jong Nam. He judged Siti was unaware if she was used and killed Kim Jong Nam, a half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. "She did not realize it was an assassination attempt from certain group believed as agent from the outside Malaysia. Perhaps, she only was utilized but she did not know for what," Tito said in Banda Aceh, Friday (Feb 17).

Tito said the modus used by the group was inviting Aisyah to take part in an prank show. To convince Siti, she was asked to do it before and it was more than once. "If you ever saw Just for Laughs variety show, it was a prank. It was meant as a joke. So the woman closed her eyes, another one sprayed something. The action was done three or four times before," he said.

According to Tito, Indonesian police received this information from the Malaysian police. Siti Aisyah was rewarded few dollars for the previous actions. "And the last target was Kim Jong Nam. Allegedly, there was hazardous materials in the liquid sprayed to the victim," Tito said.
