At the Pusdai Mosque, Bandung City, West Java, Habib Rizieq Shihab spoke to the peoples. He was examined as suspect in alleged defamation of Pancasila and Sukarno at West Java Police headquarters on Monday (Feb 13).

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG -- Grand Imam of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Habib Rizieq Shihab objected the evidence possessed by the West Java Police in the case of alleged defamation of Pancasila and Sukarno. The evidence was an edited video with a duration of two minutes 13 seconds. "I'm objected if the video is used as evidence or proof. It was an hour or two hours sermon and it was cut into two minutes 13 seconds. It could create dangerous perception," he said after undergoing examination at the West Java Police headquarters on Monday.

Therefore, Habib Rizieq asked the investigator to have the record intact as evidence. He would submit the original recording in the upcoming examination. "It will be dangerous to analyze the two minutes video," he said.

According to Habib Rizieq, the investigation has not been completed. In the next session, he will be presenting a number of witnesses. "I will present expert witnesses of history, governance and other expert," he remarked.

Habib Rizieq was questioned for almost eight hours. He got 36 questions from the investigators. "It was all about the thesis," he said.
