REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- A politician from the National Revival Party (PKB) Lukman Edy agreed with three other parties to submit inquiry right due to the reactivation of Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok). Evenmore, the party wanted to submit three inquiries at once.

The enquiries were related to ID cards and the effect of general election commission (KPU) in the regional election. "We remained to submit three inquiry right. If only one, we did not want to signed it. So the same problems would not be repeated in 2018 and 2019 election," said the Deputy Chairman of Commission II of the House of Representatives in the Parliament Complex on Monday.

Therefore, said Edy, the party would proposed the idea to its partners in Commission II. So the inquiry would not only focus on the suspension of Ahok who was a defendant of a blasphemy case.

Edy said the problems was not only found in Jakarta. So far, there were some regions reported to be discriminated by KPU. "Indeed this regional election were very comprehensive. Start from the election in South Sulawesi and 18 cities and regents. Because this might followed by polemics," he added.

Previously, the Justice and Prosperity Party (PKS) tried to push the Interior Minister to temporarily suspend the Jakarta governor. However, the minister was reluctant to meet the request. It was then followed by a submission to support the inquiry right to President.
