Police is still trying to complete Sri Bintang Pamungkas' files

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Jakarta Metro Police investigators was asked to complete the dossier file (BAP) of the suspect of coup plot and bad agreement, Sri Bintang Pamungkas, as instructed by the prosecutor. In the alleged of treason case, the police received a P19 (the return of files) from the Public Prosecutor (Attorney General) on Friday.

The Head of Crime and Violence Unit, in the Directorate of General Crime of Jakarta Metro Police, F. Hendy Kurniawan, said the investigators has examined 74 witnesses related to the alleged attempts of treason by Sri Bintang Pamungkas.

"The investigation of the alleged treason attempts should be holistic because the formal offense which means the handling of the case did not have to happen first," he said, Thursday (January 26). 

Hendy said police were trying to find a red line between the meetings held by the suspects of treason attempts by using the momentum of 212 Rally.

Previously, police named some suspects for alleged of treason case, among others Kivlan Zein, Adityawarman, Ratna Sarumpaet, Firza Hussein, Rachmawati Sukarnoputri, Sri Bintang Pamungkas, Eko Suryo Santjojo, Hatta Taliwang and Alvin Indra. 

Police had also requested information from the economic expert Ichsanuddin Noorsy as a witness. He allegedly attended the meeting held by Rachmawati Sukarnoputri.
