REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Jakarta Metro Police Spokesman, Commissioner Raden Argo Yuwono, said the confinement of victims in a room has become the specialization of the robber and murderer in Pulomas. The perpetrators have planned it before the robbery.

In their last operation, the robber used a 1.5 x 1.5 square meters bathroom to confine the victims. "This is the modus operandi of the group of four. They never damaged the door," said Argo, Monday.

Argo explained, firstly, the perpetrators came to the location and looked for the house with opened gate. And then, they pretended to be already familiar with homeowners.

After successfully enter the house, they gives verbal threats and put a sharp weapon to make the victims obey their orders. They tied up the victims using a shoe laces,  plastic rope, or duct tape. They led the victim to get into a room.  "From the interrogation, the perpetrators considered that the nearest room was the bathroom. They did not expect fatalities," said Argo.

During the investigation, it was known that this is the third robbery operation after Jonggol and Purwakarta. In the two locations, the perpetrators said they did not have intention to hurt or to kill the victims.  "In their journey as robber, they said they have never hurt the victim and caused died," said Argo.

On Tuesday (December 27), six people killed and five others wounded at a house belongs to Dodi Triono in Pulomas, Pulogadung, East Jakarta. The dead bodies were found in a locked bathroom with no ventilation, together with five survivor. The victims died allegedly due to oxygen deprivation.
