KPK Chairman Agus Rahardjo said BPK found new fact and data on Sumber Waras case.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TANGERANG -- The Corruption Eradication Commision (KPK) to plan a meeting with the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK). The meeting will be held next week. "BPK said there were new facts and data related to Sumber Waras Hospital case," KPK Chairman Agus Rahardjo said on Tuesday.

Agus stressed the Sumber Waras Hospital corruption case is still running. The KPK is still collecting data and new facts. "The investigation has never been stopped," he said.

Based on Inspection Report (LHP) Audit Board on the Jakarta's Financial Statement 2014, BPK found there was indication of financial loss in the purchasing of Sumber Waras Hospital's land. The loss amount reached Rp191, billion. The Jakarta Provincial Government bought it with higher price.

According to Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, the Jakarta city government bought the land at Kyai Tapa 1 Street, West Jakarta because of the taxable value in 2014 was Rp20, million per square meter. The total land acquisition cost was Rp755 billion. Therefore, he argued, the government got benefit from it.
