"The countries include Malaysia, China, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, India, Germany, Vietnam, Egypt, Bosnia, Turkey, the Netherlands, Singapore and others," organizing committee chairperson Kuslistyarini said here on Wednesday.

In addition to the publishers, libraries and campuses are also participating in the exhibition.

The general chairman of the Indonesian Publishers Association, Rosidayati Rozalina, said this event brings together book publishers from various regions of the world and is a platform for copy rights transactions.

Last year, 70 transactions of copy rights for books took place. This year, the business match-making program is likely to witness even more such transactions during the exhibition.

Rosidayati said children's books, books on religion and literary books were much in demand at various foreign publishers? stalls.

Malaysia is the honorary guest this year, just as Saudi Arabia and South Korea were in the past.
