Angkasa Pura I opens Eid command posts

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MANADO -- State-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura I Sam Ratulangi International Airport has opened Eid command posts.

"This was done to facilitate the passengers who will be going home to various destinations," General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) of Sam Ratulangi Airport Halendra Waworuntu said in Manado, Friday (24/6).

He added that the establishment of these posts according to a letter from the Ministry of Transportation Number AU.007 / I / 16DRJU.DA 2016 dated May 30, 2016 and letter of the directors of PT Angkasa Pura (Persero) number AP.1.2943. OB.01 / 2016 / 00D-B in May 27, 2016.

Sam Ratulangi Airport also has prepared human resources, facilities, operations, services and other supporting facilities before Eid.

"So, Sam Ratulangi Airport now ready to face Eid 2016," he said.

Especially for the readiness of the human resources (HR), Sam Ratulangi Airport has prepared about 320 people from various agency in  Sam Ratulangi Airport, such as Angkasa Pura, Airport Authority, Air Force, Navy, Police, Airlines, Ground handling and Port Health office centers (KKP).

As for the increase in passengers who arriving and departing around 9.11 percent compared with last year's Eid.

"Peak day is predicted on the three days before Eid and four days after Eid," he said.

Airlines that serve scheduled flights at the Sam Ratulangi airport include Garuda Indonesia, Lion Air, Batik Air, Wings Air, Sriwijaya Air, Silk Air, Airfas Air, and Citilink. He explained to facilitate users to access information; Angkasa Pura has provide information services and complaints via contact center 172.
