REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BOGOR -- National Commission Protection of Children (Komnas PA) said rape case toward toddler, LN (2.5 years) of Kampung Pabuaran, Cibungbulang, Bogor, West Java is extraordinary crime.
Komnas PA thinks thisincident is extraordinary crime that should receive serious legal action.
"It's not just sexual violence but extraordinary crime. After the toddler was raped and killed," said Chairman of Komnas PA Aris Merdeka Sirait to Republika.co.id, Wednesday (11/5).
Moreover, Aris said, perpetrator is adult to commit a crime against the victim. He added, imprisonment only is not enough but death sentence because he kill the victim.
Moreover, Aris saw no maximum social control in an environment where the perpetrator and the victim lived.
"The Government of the Bogor District of course get village funds, it should be can used to form a team of child protection in every village," said Aris.
He explains that the incident is happen in rapist’s house who lives with his parents. If the incidence of rape and murder occurred in his house, Aris continued, then his parents do not know means no control and the possibility is any planning previously.
"People in the neighborhood of perpetrator and victim is not sensitive. That's why there should be control team in the village in order to protect children from sexual crimes and murder," said Aris.
He also asks the bill of sexual violence immediately improved to make a fairness with cases such as rape in Bogor and other places.
Therefore, Aris added, other triggers such as porn video, alcoholic drinks, and drugs can makes someone to commit a crime.
Known, LN raped by Budiansyah in his home on Sunday (8/5) while playing with his nephew. Budiansyah rape LN in the bathroom and in his room. Then he kill the victim and dump the corpse in his backyard.
